Connected: News from the Chico State Alumni Association

The COVID-19 pandemic is changing the way we consume media and entertainment. While being confined to our homes, our social lives have moved online and television, gaming, and music have become the primary sources of entertainment. As a result, community activities, such as movie and live theatres, theme parks, museums, restaurants, etc., are greatly suffering as physical distancing and shutdowns are enforced. Our distinguished panel of experts will discuss the challenges and opportunities public industries will face as they try to navigate a post-COVID-19 future.

We are excited to partner with the Sierra Oro Farm Trail during our upcoming Alumni and Family Weekend for a virtual tasting experience!

Fresh from our University Farm orchards, be the first to savor Farm Trail Harvest Baltic Porter, a new seasonal beer from the Sierra Nevada Brewing company. Inspired by the specialty farms of Butte county, the beer is brewed with University peaches and locally grown by family farms. Purchase your tasting box in advance and interact live!

Stay tuned for more details!
